Meet the team

  • Founder & CEO

    Nick Kor is a strategist, facilitator, and advisor with over 12 years of experience leading complex initiatives across public policy, government, and the nonprofit sector. He brings deep expertise in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and navigating the intersection of politics, systems, and people.

    Nick has worked with state agencies, community-based organizations, advocacy coalitions, and executive leaders to design strategies that drive meaningful, measurable change. His approach blends political strategy with a commitment to inclusion, collaboration, and action.

    Throughout his career, Nick has:

    • Spearheaded Minnesota’s first statewide civic engagement initiative under Governor Dayton, helping agencies better serve communities through inclusive public participation.

    • Led public policy and advocacy campaigns, securing major policy victories in LGBTQ rights, criminal justice reform, small business support, job access, public safety, and racial equity.

    • Designed and led strategic planning for government agencies and nonprofits, helping organizations clarify their vision, align teams, and take action on goals.

    • Advised senior leaders across sectors on high-stakes initiatives, delivering strategies that balance urgency with long-term vision.

    In addition to leading Kor Consulting, Nick has served as a Bush Fellow, senior government advisor, political strategist, nonprofit leader, and coalition builder. He understands how systems work, how to build them, and how to move them.

    When he’s not consulting, you can find him trying new restaurants, flying somewhere new, watching Star Wars, or spending time with friends and family.

    Julia recently graduated from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and brings three years of hands-on experience in digital marketing. She’s passionate about helping brands grow through strategic content creation, social media, and compelling storytelling.
